At last – a proper day off. Lots of nice meals and hanging with the pooch: two long walks in the park and almost an entire series of The Dog Whisperer on DVD. Bring me your maladjusted Dobermans, people – I will channel the magical Cesar and restore calm to your world.

Don’t worry, I get like this after I watch movies too. “We are the Borg. Resistance is futile” etc.
