montreal video shoot – part two :::

Posted 18 Sep 2009 in Music,News,Photo Post,Travel

I’m writing this in Amsterdam Schipol airport between planes. To my left the sun is rising over a fleet of KLM aircraft and to my right fellow travellers look pale and scratchy eyed from overnight flights. That’s exactly how I feel, too.

Day two of the video shoot went great – I was surprised how much got done and how many talented people were involved, from boy breakdancers performing backflips from a standstill to pretty models turning heads to a gang of female dancers pretending to study in a park before breaking in to a fantastic routine.

I even got to wear my favourite sunglasses:

Everyone was too exhausted after we wrapped to have a proper party but me, Melissa and the Redroche crew went to the Latin Quarter for a delicious Italian dinner before I hit the hay. The red wine knocked me out til morning, then Melissa and I spent some time wandering round the city before I had to head off to the airport.

What a fabulous few days. Thank you so much Vlad, Redroche, Gio, Marco, Melissa, Lance, James, Emily, the brilliant crew and all the talented dancers and models.

All my photos from the shoot can be seen here and more bits and pieces will be released over the next few weeks as we impatiently await the edited video!
