It’s NaNoWriMo day 22 and my word count is a respectable 26,589. I’m behind the ideal word count by some margin but I like my story and I am stubborn. Today I plan to keep coming back to the laptop for half hour bursts in between all the other stuff I’m doing – album planning, ruffle making, film camera geekery. I will get there!

My super talented photographer friend Dina Karklina helped me plant out a little indoor herb garden last week and, to my non-green-fingered surprise look what I found this morning!

That might be spinach one day, barring accidents.

I’m not usually a fan of November but this month has been great so far. It’s been a time for projects and learning new skills, nurturing, nesting and resting.

How’s your November been?
