Suddenly it’s the end of the year, the wind is howling round my house and I’m huddling up to the radiator for comfort. The last two months has disappeared in EP recording, work and puppy training – Benji’s new best friend Alby is 4 months old now and passing (swiftly, I hope) through a bitey, scratchy phase.
Two weeks today I head out on a small but perfectly formed tour to launch the “Disarm:15” EP – a collection of five lovingly reworked songs from my debut album “Disarm”, designed to breathe new life in to the tracks I find the most resonant as the “me” I am right now.
Get tour tickets direct from me or look on Gigs and Tours, See Tickets, Dice and all other major retailers for the following dates:
Tuesday 1st December – Birmingham – Sunflower Lounge
Wednesday 2nd December – Manchester – The Castle Hotel
Thursday 3rd December – London – Sebright Arms
Friday 4th December – Bristol – The Louisiana
I’m creating a special one-off show – a mix of music and stories to celebrate “Disarm”‘s 5th birthday but also featuring songs from “Little Battles” and my forthcoming album “Direction Of Travel” (due for release in March 2016). I hope you’ll join me.
Click here to pre-order limited edition physical and digital versions of the EP and get an immediate download of the new supercharged “Scared To Capsize” plus two t-shirt designs and click here to listen to “Slow Puncture”, premiered last week on The Line Of Best Fit.
Support on all four dates comes from Eliza Rickman (Welcome To Night Vale), who is visiting from America! Get her new album Footnotes For The Spring here.
