What a weekend! Thanks to everyone who’s come along to my Edinburgh Fringe show so far, there are so many great shows to see it means a lot that you chose mine.
Somehow I only have four performances left now, 4pm Tuesday 18th – Friday 21st at Fingers Piano Bar. Drop by!
Since my last post I’ve performed Shit Girlfriend three times to more than a hundred people, played a gig in Glasgow (and enjoyed an epic brunch the next day at Left Bank in Kelvingrove) and run all over Edinburgh seeing other peoples’ shows. So far Katherine Ryan, Stewart Lee, Mae Martin, Portraits In Motion and My Beautiful Black Dog were all highlights.

“Shit Girlfriend’s mixture of melodic songs and entertaining stories is a lovely way to spend an hour—ideal for anyone who likes music but, during the abundance of choice that is the Fringe, doesn’t want to commit to a full-on concert.”
Audience reviews – if you’ve seen the show, please consider leaving one too!
“Confession: I’ve been a fan of Laura’s music since her first album. But I would have enjoyed this show anyway – she’s crafted an charming and entertaining hour of humorous little stories about living a creative life, often on the road, and the impacts it can have on relationships. Sometimes, you just need to take a guitar to a funeral…” – Jason Meininger
“Shit Girlfriend is an Awesome show. Mix together a super talented musician, lyricist and story teller with humour and you have shit girlfriend. While Laura admits to not being a comic she certainly had everyone laughing with insightful stories of her dodgy past relationships. These were linked into the songs which were superb.” – Ian Fleming
